Job Description
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the team at St Mary’s Community Health Centre. This role involves providing direct patient and client-centered nursing care within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse, under the supervision of a registered nurse or midwife, to achieve planned patient outcomes.
About the Facility
St Mary’s Community Health Centre includes an emergency room and 8 inpatient beds, providing emergency, sub-acute, palliative, community and outpatient services. These include community nursing, home help, an adult day centre, physiotherapy, social work, and child health. The Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre is also based on site, and medical services are delivered in partnership with a co-located GP practice operated by Ochre Health.
The Role
- Provide direct patient and client-centered nursing care.
- Work within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse.
- Deliver care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or midwife.
- Contribute to achieving planned patient outcomes.
Details of Appointment
- Permanent part-time position
- 32 hours per fortnight, shift work
- Commencing as soon as possible
- Hours negotiable with the successful applicant
- Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% employer superannuation
- Salary range in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023

Eligibility
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (with a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
